Kristen Vaughan

A New York Innovative Theater Award Leading Actress nominee, Kristen started her life in the arts as a visual artist. Midway through her bachelor degree she was seduced into acting as a result of seeing two shows; a Stoppard (the impact of which needs no further explanation) and a performance of a little known play that had a moment of such perfect honesty she walked out of the theater, switched her major, and never looked back. It seemed to her that playwrights had a direct line to the truth she'd been trying to tell and, simply put, she wanted to be their paint.
