Liam Mitchell


Liam, a former college football coach, is an actor and has appeared in numerous films such as: Philadelphia (dir Jonathan Demme), Wide Awake (dir M Night Shaymalan), Broadway Brawler (dir Lee Grant) and The Salesman (winner at Sundance).  TV credits include: The Wire, Law and Order and The American Dad. He has also appeared in over fifty national commercials such as: NFL Highlights, Sports Illustrated, Miller High Life, IBM, Advair and Cheerios.  New York theater performances include works at the Connelly Theatre, Wings Theatre, HB Playwrights and The Independent Theatre.  Regional theater work includes performing in productions at the Walnut Street Theatre, Villanova Theatre and The Scranton Public Theatre.

Liam studied playwriting with Austin Pendleton and Judd Silverman, Acting with Uta Hagen, Herbert Bergoff and Austin Pendleton.  He resides in New York City and is married to actress and playwright Barbara Bleier.
